Well, I have DVR’ed the England vs Sweden Game, I’m going to watch it, after I go out to dinner with my Wife and In-Laws. We (England) don’t really have the best record against the Swedes in Competitions. The big one that sticks out in my mind was the Euro 96 game, against Sweden, IN Sweden. It was when Graham “Turnip-Head” was in charge of the national team, I remember Gary Lineker (Captain at the time) being subbed off and throwing the armband on the ground near Taylor. I felt bad for the entire team, but especially Lineker who had previously announced his retirement from the national team, and Taylor still subbed him off.
