Obviously, Professional Soccer Training Organization’s are not a new idea, especially in New Jersey, but, at Diamond, we believe some of our ideas and training techniques, put us near the top of the pile! Learning to play soccer is a journey. The 1st step is just you and the ball, the last step is playing 11 v 11. At Diamond Soccer Training, we are constant ‘Students of the Game’, keeping up with current trends, coaching techniques and methodologies, as the game of soccer evolves, so do we. At Diamond Soccer Training, we want to create a ‘Positive Psychological Climate’ for our players to learn in. We want to provide positive reinforcement and highlight examples of ‘players doing good’. Soccer has, and always will be, a ‘thinking person’s game’. We want to provide game-like instances were players can evaluate everything that is going on around them, and come up with various solutions. Soccer players need to be nurtured in an environment were it is O.K. to make a mistake, as long as we can provide solutions and not make the same mistake again.
Our Objective is to produce self-aware, responsible, cooperative young people who embody individuality and team spirit. We want our soccer players to be strong and resilient. Diamond Soccer Training aims to reinforce their faith in themselves and to encourage realistic self assessment, provide support to each other and, understand the ‘WHY’ and ‘WHEN’ while enjoying ‘the Beautiful Game’.
